The Windom Public Library is conveniently located on the Square in the downtown business district in the historic 1st National Banking Building. The building was built in 1911, has been home to the library since 1985.

The library is a free, safe and friendly environment.  The Public Library offers Internet access, free Wi-Fi, audio books, movies, magazines, bike locks, books, e-books, e-audio books & HotSpots. Reading programs are offered to children and adults. Other services the library provides are Adult Coloring space, story times, proctoring exams, printing and scanning documents.  The library also offers events and entertainers throughout the year.

The Windom Public Library encourages use of the library through creative programming, public relations and support services, enables patrons to enjoy a successful library experience and enhances the quality of life for Windom area residents.
